Throughout our Giving Tuesday campaign, we’re highlighting the stories of Meowy Matchmakers cats who beat the odds thanks to compassionate fosters, dedicated volunteers, and supporters like you.
As a fully volunteer-run rescue with no paid staff—and with every cat cared for in a loving foster home—we rely entirely on donor generosity to give Kansas felines the second chances they deserve.
The stories of the cats below are just a few powerful examples of the lifesaving impact your support makes possible.

Wanda Lou
This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating resilience, compassion, and the lives changed because of generous supporters like you ❤️
Meet Wanda Lou—formerly Little Bitty Wanda Lou. She arrived at Meowy Matchmakers as a fragile 4-week-old floofy kitten with a few medical challenges. Born with a stricture, she struggled with chronic constipation that required constant care.
Our team gave her the time and love she needed, letting her grow strong for several months before beginning a series of procedures to reduce the stricture. Thanks to dedicated veterinarians, round-the-clock foster support, and the donations that made it all possible…
✨ Wanda Lou is now stricture-free, constipation-free, thriving, and loving life. ✨
She adores other cats, zooms around like she owns the place, and shines as a reminder of why rescue matters.
Donate today and give more cats a chance at the healthy, happy life they deserve.

Willow
This Giving Tuesday, we’re shining a light on one of Meowy Matchmakers’ bravest little fighters: Willow 💛🐾
Willow is an 8-month-old gray tabby with a gorgeous, silky coat and a spirit that refuses to be dimmed. She came to us with a severe upper respiratory infection so intense that one of her eyes ruptured. She now has limited vision in her remaining eye—and may eventually go fully blind.
But here’s the beautiful part:
✨ Willow is happy, healthy, playful, and FULL of love. ✨
She navigates her world with confidence, trusts her people, and is ready for a forever family who will love her exactly as she is.Medical cases like Willow’s are heartbreaking—but with your support, they become stories of survival, healing, and hope.
Give today to change a life.

Pearl
This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for your support to help cats like Pearl—a true survivor with a heart full of love 🤍🐾
Pearl is a 1-year-old white-and-gray beauty who was found as a stray so severely underweight that she was mistaken for a kitten. One of our municipal shelter partners transferred her to Meowy Matchmakers, where we quickly discovered she was also battling a serious intestinal infection and a fever of unknown origin.
Those first few weeks were rough—multiple vet visits to Dr. Jane Cindrich at Overland Park Veterinary Center, medications and subQ fluids, and lots of worry. But Pearl fought hard. And thanks to supporters like you, she finally had a chance.
✨ Today, Pearl is healthy, has gained weight, and is absolutely thriving. ✨ She is one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you will ever meet, and she’s officially ready to find her forever home.
Medical cases like Pearl’s are costly, unpredictable, and emotional—but they are also why we do this work.
Give today and help us save more Pearls.

Beignet & Croissant
This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating two very special boys who have waited their whole lives for a home: Beignet & Croissant 🐾💛
These handsome brothers—Beignet, a gray tabby, and Croissant, a brown tabby—are 1 year and 4 months old and have grown up entirely in Meowy Matchmakers’ care. From tiny kittens to the sweet, affectionate young cats they are today, they’ve always had one constant: each other.
Bonded pairs are always harder to place. And yes—these two would have been adopted much sooner if separated. But some bonds are worth protecting.
We believe these brothers belong together, and we’re willing to wait for the family who agrees.
Give today to help us keep bonded pairs together and give them the futures they deserve.

Tina, Louise, and Gene
This Giving Tuesday, we’re rallying support for three very special kittens who stole our hearts the moment they arrived: Tina, Louise, and Gene—affectionately known as the Three Blind Mice 🐭💛
At just 15 weeks old, these Bob’s Burgers–themed babies have already faced more medical challenges than most cats will in a lifetime. They were transferred to Meowy Matchmakers from a shelter partner so we could better accommodate their complex needs.
🐭 Tina – a gray tabby girl
🐭 Louise – a medium-hair dilute tortie
🐭 Gene – an orange-and-white tabby boyTina and Louise both suffered severe upper respiratory infections that caused their eyes to rupture. They will each need both eyes removed to give them a pain-free, healthy life. Sweet Gene has impaired vision, too, but our vets are hopeful he may not need eye removal.
Despite everything, these kittens are happy, playful, affectionate, and trusting. They navigate the world with bravery and charm—and they remind us daily why rescue matters.
Medical cases like theirs are expensive and emotionally tough, but they deserve every chance we can give them.
Donate today to give Tina, Louise, and Gene the bright future they deserve.

Jeri
This Giving Tuesday, we’re highlighting a truly stunning girl who’s been waiting patiently for her perfect match: Jeri 💙🐾
Jeri is a 4-year-old seal point Siamese with striking blue eyes and a soft, elegant presence. She came to Meowy Matchmakers with chronic ear infections that left her ears a little wonky—but don’t worry, they’ve fully cleared up, and she’s feeling great! Her ears just give her extra character.
We’re partnering with Dr. Sadie Scott at Family Pet Hospital of Shawnee to help Jeri find the right fit. And for her, that means a home where she can be the only pet. Cats like Jeri, who need a pet-free home, often wait much longer for adoption simply because the right household is harder to find. But we are committed to giving Jeri the best possible future, no matter how long it takes.
She is calm, loyal, and just wants a human to call her own.
Give today and help us keep saying “yes” to cats who deserve the perfect match.

Rue
This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating a miracle kitten who is alive today because of compassion, teamwork, and generous supporters like you: Rue 🐾❤️
Rue was found as a tiny black-and-white kitten hiding under a shrub in the rain—cold, scared, and desperately in need of help. Not long after entering our care, she suddenly spiked a dangerously high fever and became severely lethargic.
With help from our partners at Acute Vet Urgent Care, Rue was diagnosed with Bobcat fever, a rare and often deadly tickborne illness. She was rushed to Blue Pearl Overland Park, where she spent days in intensive care and received four life-saving blood transfusions. And then—the miracle happened.
Rue fought hard, our vets worked tirelessly, and your donations made her treatment possible.
✨ Today, Rue is happy, healthy, and thriving in her adoptive home. ✨
Her story is one we will never forget—and one that reminds us why we ask for your support on Giving Tuesday.
When you donate, you’re not just giving money. You’re giving kittens like Rue a chance to survive the unimaginable.
Give today and help us save the next life that depends on us.
